The Biggest (man-made) Hole In the World
This
ginormous hole seems like a scene from some bad"End of World Movie".
But in reality it's a diamond mine in Mirna, Siberia. It measures 525 m deep
and 1.25 km in diameter, making it the biggest man-made hole in the world. The
suction from the hole is so powerful that helicopters flying over it have
crashed.
